About Me

I am Anitra C. Humphrey, the founder and creator of Nit’s Brunch and Talk. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and am the proud mother of three, a grandmother, author and co-owner of CodeXcellence, Inc. Following my divorce in 2016 I began thinking of all the things I desired to do to serve others. In 2017 I began a journey of building what would become Nit’s Brunch and Talk. After a full year of planning on March 10, 2018, I held my first Nit’s Brunch and Talk where 18 women gathered around a table for food, fun, conversation, and encouragement, a theme that has remained central to our Brunch and Talks ever since. There aren’t many topics that are off the table in our talks, as we all have something to learn from others.

With a desire to reach a broader audience, the idea of creating Nit’s Brunch and Talk Blog was born. I look forward to continuing the spirit of food, fun, conversation and encouragement while sharing my thoughts with you as well as pieces of our Brunch and Talk conversations. In bringing together women of all ages, races, and professions who may be seeking encouragement for themselves, I hope to be encouraged as well. I look forward to receiving your feedback, questions and comments as we encourage one another through this journey.
